Niagara Aces

The Niagara Aces were formed in March 2009 by the meeting of Geremia Massolin, Brendan Mitchell and Brandon Smith, realizing they had a common goal the three decided to start a team and started practicing once a week at a local field. At one of these practices they met Mike Tetsos, Christopher VanBrussel, and Brian Beaulieu and they decided to put the team into a local tournament. After the tournament was finished Chris and Brian decided to leave the team to pursue other interests, but Mike stayed however and the four continued to practice every week to improve their skills. The four entered a second and third tournament that summer, and greater rankings had shown that their practice had paid off. Upon the completion of the summer the team decided to increase their roster so that 5 man tournaments could be played. Christian Mihalides had been a referee at their local field and heard they were looking for players, and was added to the roster and a 5 man tournament was played the next month. After a grueling tournament the team decided that the roster needed to be increased further and discovered local talents Mitchell Davis and Jan Chechalk. Jan Chechalk left soon after to further pursue his paintball career with a local CX4 team. The brother duo of Andres and Darryl San Jose became a welcomed addition to the roster around the same time that Jan was leaving, which worked out well for both parties. The Niagara Aces continue to thrive for excellence to this day, their commitment, dedication, and enthusiasm to the team, each other, and the sport of paintball has never been stronger.
